Original Art by Artists from Across Maine OPENS: Friday, December 2, 5-8 pm SALE: Saturdays, December 3 & 10, 12-4 pm 516 Congress Street, Portland (in the Portland Media Center building) Come see the wonderful, affordable art that is being offered by our artists.   The UMVA fosters educational and commercial opportunities as well as community support for artists and teaching artists working in a range of media. The past year posed economic challenges for many and artists saw their galleries shutter and the costs of supplies rise. This holiday season they are generously offering select works well below their market value. This sale will feature small works, sculpture and wall art, starting at fifty dollars with a maximum price of three hundred dollars. Many artists will be at the sale and available to discuss their work.
