Words  كلمات Dave Berrang  and Rabee Kiwan   Portland artists Rabee Kiwan and Dave Berrang join together to paint words in English and Arabic .   Before words, humans painted on the walls of their dwellings . The alphabet started in Phoenicia, which is   ancient Lebanon . Rabee was born and raised in Lebanon, and has a lot of pride in his culture as well as   his newish home in Portland, Maine . He has mixed paint and words on canvas to express his journey   through life and immigration . Dave has worked in abstract and expressive art over the years utilizing     different media .
